If you bought a painting in the past, we would love to hear from you! Please comment on this post (or drop us an email) and let us know how you feel about the work you own. Thanks in advance!
New work coming soon - some a bit different from what we've done so far.
For Christmas last year my girlfriend completely surprised me by commissioning you to paint a bottle of Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier. A few months earlier we had met up in Munich for Oktoberfest which included a day trip out to the Weihenstephaner brewery, which I think will go down as one of my favorite days ever. The painting holds a very special place in my heart and it hangs proudly in our living room situated so that wherever you sit you can easily see it and a truncated version of it resides as the lock screen on my phone. Thank you both so much for the wonderful work that you do, I check your website frequently and wish that I could afford to buy some more paintings.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to write that, Zach.

Cara & Louie
Wow. If you guys aren't going to be painting anymore beer type pieces, all I can say is that I am a lucky guy.
ReplyDeleteI contacted Louie about doing a commissioned painting for me to highlight my favorite breweries of Pennsylvania. While it is hard to just pick a couple, because PA has so many great beers, I narrowed it down to the breweries I drink the most.
When I first saw their paintings online, I honestly thought they were modified photographs, because they truly look like the real thing. But after checking their site out and seeing their other work, I could not resist having one of my own for my basement (aka Manland).
All I can say is that I was blown away at the final product. I kept asking Louie to send me photos of the painting in progress, but he refused in that they don't like doing that until it is finished. I was like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. When I finally got the piece, I was truly amazed. It is proudly handing at the bottom of my basement steps so everyone sees it as they go downstairs (and also sits right outside my beer cellar).
It is sad to know that others may not be so fortunate to have such a wonderful painting, but I am glad I decided to go with and it have one done.
here is the awesome piece of work they did for me

Thanks a ton and now I just need to save up my money (and convince my wife) for one of their other amazing works of art (in particular "Expunction III").
Greg
Greg - thank you for the kind words. Just to clarify, we are going to continue doing beer paintings for now, but there is a future where we will likely be too busy to do paintings of this sort. We shall see...
